ROV for Boating and Sport

Visit our team at booth 314 at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show 21st -24th May

Australians love being on the water - whether for fishing, cruising, entertaining or just spending family time together. Fish finding equipment and other technological advances have expanded the capabilities of pleasure craft to let you gain the most from your boating experience.

Remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) have been used for many years by naval and maritime professionals for examining boat hulls, reefs, studying marine life and understanding the underwater environment.

Now, thanks to ground-breaking technology, families can expand their boating leisure to fully explore what lies beneath. Perhaps you want to see the fish you are about to land; admiring marine life and formations or just want to regularly inspect your propeller condition mooring security or anchor and hull fittings.

Whatever your marine pleasure, a micro ROV will deliver endless hours of fascinating viewing of what lies below you.
With an intuitive hand-controller (just like video games) and quick and easy setup, the AC-ROV is perfectly equipped to become standard gear on board your cruiser or yacht. The unit’s mobility and professional, robust engineering ensures the AC-ROV performs faultlessly.

In commercial diving applications the AC-ROV has shown its value for general inspection or as a safety device to be deployed with the dive team. Operators have reported the successful completion of seabed inspection survey’s in harsh conditions to depths of 20 meters using a clump weight in 3 knots current.

Initially purchased to carry out propeller, hull, reservoir, aquaculture installation and general harbour inspections the capable nature of the AC-ROV has surprised its owners. Impressed by the vehicle and overall system size, camera image quality, mobility and thrust to weight ratio, the AC-ROV is introducing its owners into a whole new realm of underwater enjoyment.

The system is certified for all "feet wet" applications, offshore, onshore and will even explore fissures and around rocks to depths of 20 meters using a clump weight in 3 knots current.

SeaVision can provide ROVs starting from the tiny AC-ROV to the professional standard Falcon - a powerful and versatile ROV that gives you the ability to explore to greater depths and recover items from the seabed. Some yacht owners have fully integrated the Falcon controls into yachts for a complete ROV control room.
